2 Corinthians 3:16-17
But when one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
When we make the decision to follow Christ, the veil of separation and unbelief is removed. We see the fullness of God’s glory and our sins are forgiven; all because Christ died for our sin and was risen, He now sits at the right hand of the Father.
Paul is also speaking about freedom—and what he means is freedom from condemnation, guilt, sin, death, the old covenant, blindness to the gospel, and the freedom that gives us unrestrained access to the loving presence of God.
What more could we want or need?
